WSJ.com - Google Checks Out Interest In Online Book 'Rental' Plan: "According to this publisher, the books wouldn't be downloadable or printable. Those features may be worked out at a later time, he said. Although this publisher said that the proposed fee to end users -- 10% of each book's list price -- is too low, he said it still may represent a significant opportunity for publishers to tap the budding digital-book market.
While the exact shape of any rental approach by Google doesn't appear to be final, the current discussion with the publisher is a strong indication the Internet-search company plans to head in the digital book-renting direction. 'Google Print is exploring new access models to help authors and publishers sell more books online, but we don't have anything to announce,' a Google spokesman said."

Paper Jams from Worn Rollers: "You need a new paper pickup assembly. Over time, the roller that picks up paper wears out.. even if you don't use the printer much. Ozone eats away at the rubber, and the pressure of using in pulls off layer after layer.
With a new roller, we also put in a separation pad, mostly a piece of cork for the roller to push up against. We do both at the same time to eliminate a later service call. When you're done, the printer will pick up and process the paper as good as it did when it was brand new.
Our printer refurbishing plant does dozens of these each week. We also put in a rebuilt fuser assembly, ozone filter (to remove the ozone generated and improve the oxygen content in the room around the printer), rebuild the power supply and exit rollers. This and a few other items give the printer brand new performance.
You can trade your printer for a rebuilt one, get a full toner cartridge and a full one year warranty.. or talk to us about using our repair facility to get just what you need. call Landmark at 800-466-5687 during California business hours."
